In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout
the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

| Club Meetings | Focus is on the logistics of the meeting area. Responsible for setting up and taking down banners, etc. coordinating greeters and communicating with Lake Region Healthcare Corporation (current meeting place) staff regarding meals. | |
| Club Member Communication | | |
| Community Service | Studies the needs of the community and suggests ways in which the club can render service that meets the needs of the community or assists the general population. Some past projects include coordinating an annual agriculture appreciation breakfast, a river clean up project, assistance with the Summerfest Parade, barefoot ski tournament and ACS Relay for Life event and more. | |
| Contributions | Reviews requests for money that the club receives and recommends a course of action to the board of directors. | |
| District Representatives | | |
| Fertilizer/Compost Drive | Is responsible for planning and carrying out our annual fertilizer sale as a fundraiser for our club. The President-Elect of our club always chairs this committee. | |
| Human & Spiritual Values | Suggests ways the club can encourage the human and spiritual rather than the material values of life. Projects should promote nondenominational spiritual activity in the club and community. Plans for weekly invocations and coordinates an annual clergy appreciation meeting. | |
| Interclubs | Responsible for coordinating interclubs visits from our members to all other Kiwanis Clubs. | |
| Membership | Strives to increase membership according to the standards provided in the bylaws. The committee should consider all proposals for membership and submit its recommendations to the board of directors. The committee also should develop an effective orientation and induction ceremony for new members and promote regular attendance by all members at club meetings. | |
| Newsletter/Publicity | Designs and prints the monthly Otter Riser Kiwanis newsletter. Responsible for helping to ensure that the public receives, through media and other means, the Objects, goals, programs and achievements of Kiwanis International and the club. | |
| Programs | Is responsible for providing informative and entertaining weekly programs. This committee is always chaired by the Vice President of our club. | |
| Social Activities | Coordinates social activities designed for fellowship of club members outside of our regular meeting times. Activities are often designed to include spouses, friends or other family members to foster a more cohesive club. | |
| Sponsored Youth | Shall devise ways and means to establish and support a youth club associated with our club such as a Builders Club, Key Club or Circle K Club. The committee also should develop ways the club can assist in the guidance of our youth. | |
| Young Children: Priority One | Committee actively seeks out ways for the club to render effective services to children - prenatal to age five. | |
