Projects
Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide.  Below are the projects in which we are currently involved:

Adams - Read to 2nd grade classroom Otter Risers provide a hard cover book that we read to the class and then donate the book to the school library Erin Smith
Adams - Tutor Reading For 45 minutes -- work with 4 to 5 students in a 2nd grade classroom as they read a book out loud. Erin Smith
Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army Otter Risers each Nov/Dec sign-up to ring the bell by the red kettle for the Salvation Army Jerry Horgen
John Hermes Cross-Country Track meet Otter Risers - run the finish line, keeping track of times for all runners and encouraging them as they finish there run. Held each September. Thomas Welle
Otter Risers Kiwanis - FF Middle School Speech mee Otter Risers present awards at the end of the speech meet and also support the meet financially Leonard Mitberg
Relay for Life This event is held each July. Otter Riser provide: Parking, Security and warm smile to those attending Waldemar Senyk
Riverwalk Cleanup Twice a year - service project Thomas Welle
Special Ed. Bowling Help children utilize ramps, place bowling balls on ramps, and help keep them in line to bowl next. Held each fall - October Thomas Welle
Summer-Fest Parade Set up order of units in the parade, then release units as parade progresses. Held each June Thomas Welle
Wrestling for area youth Otter Risers collect entry fee for the Wrestling club and help direct spectators and wrestlers. Daniel Oehler
